We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR activity across assigned locations in Utah County. This role partners closely with employees and leaders to keep core HR processes running smoothly while reinforcing compliance, employee support, and talent initiatives. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, organization, and communication skills in a multi-site manufacturing environment.


Responsibilities:

• Lead the onboarding experience for newly hired employees, including orientation, documentation completion, and coordination of a positive start to employment.

• Maintain accurate employee information in HR systems, complete required records administration, and ensure documentation aligns with company standards and legal obligations.

• Review and audit timekeeping records for assigned sites, resolve discrepancies, and prepare accurate submissions for payroll processing in accordance with wage and hour requirements.

• Assist employees during benefits enrollment periods by answering routine questions, helping with forms, and guiding system use as needed.

• Work with site leaders to coordinate employee lifecycle activities such as hires, transfers, departures, and other workforce changes.

• Manage the intake and follow-up process for workers’ compensation matters by coordinating communication among employees, managers, carriers, and third-party partners.

• Track leave of absence activity, documentation, eligibility, and return-to-work steps while helping ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

• Provide day-to-day guidance on HR policies, employee concerns, and workplace matters while promoting fair and consistent practices.

• Support recruiting efforts through candidate sourcing assistance, interview scheduling, and partnership with staffing agencies and talent contacts to meet hiring needs.

• Contribute to HR improvement projects by reviewing workforce data, identifying trends, and recommending process enhancements that support operational effectiveness.

• Experience in an HR Generalist role supporting multiple sites.

• Working knowledge of onboarding, employee records administration, timekeeping review, and core HR operations.

• Familiarity with employment law compliance, leave administration, and workers’ compensation coordination.

• Ability to advise managers and employees on HR policies, employee relations matters, and workplace concerns with professionalism and discretion.

• Experience using HRIS platforms and maintaining accurate confidential records.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Spanish language skills are preferred.
