Position Summary
The HR Administrator (non-exempt salaried role) supports day-to-day Human Resources operations at Parker Aerospace by providing high-quality administrative and coordination support across the employee lifecycle. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate HR records, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and ensuring compliance with Parker policies, employment regulations, and company values. The HR Administrator serves as a trusted resource for employees and leaders while contributing to a safe, ethical, and high-performance workplace.
Essential Functions:
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files in accordance with Parker policies and legal requirements
  • Process employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, job changes, transfers, and terminations
  • Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations, as well as internal audits and reporting requirements
  • Ensure HR processes align with Parker's ethics, safety, and operational excellence standards
Recruitment & Onboarding Support
  • Assist with job requisitions, postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, orientation sessions, and new hire documentation
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership to ensure a positive and consistent candidate and employee experience
Employee Support & HR Services
  • Serve as a first point of contact for routine employee HR questions related to policies, benefits, and processes
  • Support attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration in a manufacturing or plant environment
  • Assist with employee communications, HR initiatives, and engagement activities
Benefits & Payroll Coordination
  • Support benefits enrollment, life event changes, and open enrollment activities
  • Coordinate with payroll to ensure employee data accuracy and timely processing
  • Assist employees with basic benefits and payroll inquiries, escalating issues as needed
General HR Support
  • Support training coordination and maintain training and compliance records
  • Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in special HR projects that support Parker's Win Strategy and operational goals
Qualifications:
  • College level coursework, professional Human Resources seminars or Human Resources program certificate
  • Bachelor degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of HR or administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort working with HR systems
  • Experience with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft a plus
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player. and able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Acting as the "face" of HR as team members come into the HR office, with an approachable and patient demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting a plant or multi-shift workforce
  • Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or timekeeping systems
  • Knowledge of basic employment laws and HR compliance requirements
  • Prior experience in a matrixed or global organization
