Job Summary

The Area HR Manager serves as a strategic and operational HR leader across multiple sites within a defined region. This role is responsible for implementing HR initiatives, ensuring compliance, supporting talent strategies, and fostering high-performance culture. The Area HR Manager partners closely with site leadership to drive employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.  

Job Location

This is an onsite position covering both of our Orem, UT and Nephi, UT manufacturing locations. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Align HR strategies with business objectives across all sites in the area. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership on HR matters, workforce planning, and organizational development.  
  • Lead change management initiatives and support cultural transformation efforts.  
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.  
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.  
  • Partner with legal counsel on sensitive matters and risk mitigation.  
  • Monitor workplace climate and proactively address morale and engagement concerns.   
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to develop area-specific recruitment strategies.  
  • Support high-volume hiring needs and seasonal workforce planning.   
  • Oversee HR data integrity and reporting for the area.  
  • Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, absenteeism) and recommend action plans.  
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of HR transactions and documentation.  
  • Support compensation benchmarking and pay equity reviews.  
  • Educate employees and managers on benefits programs and leave policies.  
  • Partner with corporate HR on open enrollment and other initiatives.  

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree and/or HR certifications preferred.   
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-site or area level responsibility.  
  • Proven success in employee relations, compliance, and talent development.  
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.  
  • High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution ability.  
  • Deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices.  
  • Ability to manage multiples priorities and work independently.
