Why Avenu should be on your radar

At Avenu, we believe that a sustainable and healthy lifestyle is attainable for everyone. Though each person’s health is unique, it can be strengthened through a small community of like-minded individuals being led by an Avenu fitness professional.

Since our founding in 2006, Avenu has been leading the way in giving people their most valuable asset back: their time. Our in30 program is designed to help those who are busy and stressed fit in a workout and achieve the results they desire.

We’re looking for individuals who are:

  • responsible for leading change rather than accepting “the way things are.”
  • open to explore how your own story shapes your leadership style.

A day in the life of our Avenu Coaches:

  • Early start: 5:30am - it’s only hard if you don’t get enough sleep.
  • Early finish - say goodbye to late nights
  • Programing and leading our signature Avenu in30 small group training sessions.
  • Lending a hand organizing and maintaining a clean training environment.
  • Collaborating with a team to lead clients towards a sustainable and healthy lifestyle.
  • Managing your clients schedule, assisting in goal setting and off-day training.
  • Assisting team in covering sessions and working Saturday mornings as needed.

  • Practical, hands-on training with some of the best educators in the fitness and Pilates industry.
  • Mental health coaching: We all have stories that we’re working through. The more courage you have to embrace yours, the more empathetic you’ll be to accepting others and the more authentic your coaching style becomes. This, we feel, is the true turning point for all sustainable and healthy journeys.

Highlights Include

  • Ideally Studied: Exercise Science, Health & Human Performance or Equivalent but not a requirement.
  • Working knowledge of physiology, movement strategies, and program design.
  • Ability to personally connect with and apply your health and wellness knowledge in a real, human interaction, not just a written test!
  • Did we mention that we start early? 5:30am
  • Investing time outside of Avenu to attend conferences and continuously expand your knowledge and skill set

Qualifications:

  • Currently holding or working towards testing for an industry certification, preferably ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, NPTI, CFSC.
  • CPR/AED certified or ability to obtain the certification within 1 months of being hired.
  • Ability to get up early, arrive on time and still be the most authentic connection in your clients day.
  • The courage to be vulnerable, thorough communication skills and willingness to humble yourself and continuously learn.
