Proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, Axure, and remote usability testing platforms is typically required, along with knowledge of prototyping and wireframing systems. Strong communication, collaboration, and self-motivation are vital soft skills for working effectively across distributed teams and conveying design ideas clearly.
