Job description

Position: Full Stack Application Developer III

Location: Atlanta, GA – Hybrid

Duration: 3 Years

Position Type: Contract W2

Georgia Power is seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer III to design, develop, and support modern business applications, data-driven solutions, and digital experiences supporting Power Delivery operations.

This role combines UI/UX design, front-end development, back-end services, data integration, and low-code application development. The ideal candidate can work directly with stakeholders from discovery through deployment and deliver intuitive, scalable, and production-ready web and mobile applications.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Conduct user research, requirements-gathering sessions, and stakeholder workshops.

·       Develop user journeys, personas, process flows, wireframes, mockups, and clickable prototypes.

·       Facilitate design-thinking sessions and identify automation and process-improvement opportunities.

·       Build responsive web and mobile applications using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

·       Develop reusable UI components and enterprise design systems.

·       Ensure applications meet usability, accessibility, performance, and security standards.

·       Build applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform, and OutSystems.

·       Design and develop REST APIs, backend services, and reusable integration components.

·       Integrate applications with Databricks, relational databases, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise systems.

·       Support ETL and ELT processes used by application workflows.

·       Participate in Agile delivery, backlog refinement, solution design, testing, deployment, and production support.

·       Create technical documentation, training materials, and application-support procedures.

·       Recommend improvements to application architecture, user experience, and development processes.

 

Required Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.

·       5+ years of experience in full-stack application development, software engineering, or digital product development.

·       Experience delivering business-facing or customer-facing web applications.

·       Strong experience with React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

·       Experience with REST APIs, SQL, relational databases, and data-integration patterns.

·       Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform, or OutSystems.

·       Experience with wireframing, prototyping, user research, journey mapping, and design-thinking methods.

·       Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.

·       Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

·       Ability to work directly with business stakeholders from discovery through production deployment.
