As the Human Resources Generalist, you will serve as a hands-on, on-site HR resource at SendCutSend's headquarters in Reno, NV, supporting employees and leaders across multiple locations and departments within a fast-growing organization. In this role, you will manage a wide range of HR responsibilities including onboarding, employee relations, compliance, daily HR operations, and  full-cycle talent acquisition. As part of the Corporate Headquarters team, you will play a key role in driving HR initiatives, supporting company culture, and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience across the organization. This position works closely with leadership and employees to foster an engaging, inclusive, and high-performing workplace while helping scale HR processes to support continued growth.

What you'll do

  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Provide HR policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
  • Administer employee relations activities including conflict resolution, workplace investigations, performance management discussions, and disciplinary processes.
  • Responsible for leave administration processes and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
  • Participate in the performance management and compensation review processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
  • Collaborate with Leadership to deliver effective and efficient full-cycle recruiting, finding only the best talent to work at SendCutSend.
  • Partner with HR Leadership and cross functional teams to support initiatives and workforce planning.
  • Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee questions.
  • Participate in processing employment-related documentation such as status changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and internal communications.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze data for compliance and to identify trends and recommend proactive solutions to leadership.
  • Promote safety initiatives supporting a safe work environment.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 5 years of progressive experience in an HR Coordinator/HR Generalist role, preferably within a manufacturing, technology, or fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Recruiting and employment law experience.
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters and various types of leaves.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively handle a broad range of interpersonal contacts, including those at a higher level and those sensitive in nature.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, plant, or multi-shift operations.
  • Experience with employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong data entry skills with high accuracy.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Experience with Paylocity.

Essential Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing work duties.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.

Work Environment

  • Environment is a fast-paced, collaborative environment that requires communication, organization, and coordination across teams in the organization.
  • Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. The role may require interaction with employees and supervisors on the production floor. Extended periods of sitting or computer work may be required.
