Responsibilities:

What to Expect

This is a highly accountable, hands-on role with responsibility for both marketing strategy and day-to-day execution.

You will:

  • Own the strategy, management, optimization, and reporting for paid advertising channels, including Google Ads, Local Services Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Manage the firm’s SEO, local search, AI-search visibility, website content, technical performance, landing pages, and conversion improvements

  • Track marketing performance across the full client journey, from lead generation through consultation and hire

  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports covering lead volume, marketing spend, cost per qualified lead, attribution, and conversion performance

  • Maintain clean, reliable marketing and CRM data so leadership can make informed decisions

  • Lead the firm’s content strategy, including blogs, videos, guides, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, and client nurture sequences

  • Maintain brand consistency across advertising, digital platforms, events, and client communications

  • Work closely with intake and sales to improve lead quality, follow-up, messaging, and conversion

  • Audit and manage external marketing vendors while gradually bringing key marketing functions in-house

  • Develop a vendor-transition roadmap during the first 30 days, with responsibilities internalized progressively based on performance, bandwidth, and business needs

  • Build and maintain referral relationships, client-retention initiatives, events, sponsorships, webinars, seminars, and community-facing marketing programs

  • Participate in leadership meetings and quarterly planning, including forecasting, budgeting, and identifying new growth opportunities

  • Support the development and improvement of HubSpot and any other CRM or marketing systems used by the firm

  • Meet or exceed annual qualified-lead goals while maintaining cost efficiency and improving lead quality

  • Report directly to the Firm Owner and/or Firm Administrator and collaborate regularly with the firm’s fractional CMO

The first year will focus heavily on building a reliable marketing infrastructure, improving visibility into performance, strengthening lead generation, and thoughtfully reducing the firm’s dependence on outside agencies.

Qualifications:

Requirements:

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager who can think strategically, execute independently, and connect marketing activity directly to qualified leads, consultations, and new clients.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of experience managing multi-channel marketing, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or another lead-generation environment

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related fields

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, Google Local Services Ads, Meta advertising, retargeting, and paid social campaigns

  • Experience managing SEO, local search, AI-driven search optimization, website content, technical improvements, and conversion-rate optimization

  • The ability to analyze marketing performance using metrics such as lead volume, cost per qualified lead, conversion rates, channel attribution, and return on investment

  • Experience creating dashboards, maintaining accurate CRM data, and presenting actionable insights to leadership

  • Strong project-management skills and experience coordinating vendors, writers, designers, developers, and other marketing partners

  • Experience developing content calendars, email campaigns, newsletters, nurture sequences, landing pages, and client-facing marketing materials

  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Lawmatics, or similar systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate proactively when challenges arise

  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work closely with firm leadership, intake, sales, vendors, and the firm’s fractional CMO

Experience in family law or legal marketing is strongly preferred.
