Job Description
  • Supervise & Develop Team: Lead, train, and mento warehouse associates, leads, and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations, manage compensation, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee hiring and onboarding processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
  • Daily Operations Management: Direct warehouse activities to ensure efficient workflow, timely order fulfillment, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Performance & Metrics Optimizations: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, accuracy, and quality using Power BI dashboards. Implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Inventory Control & Quality Assurance: Manage cycle counts, optimize inventory locations, and ensure accurate documentation of inventory movements. Oversee quality control to maintain high accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, maintain the required safety certifications and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Oversee proper maintenance of material handling equipment and safety supplies.
  • Facility & Equipment Maintenance: Supervise facility upkeep, equipment repairs, and ensure all warehouse assets remain operational.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Maintain strong communication with internal departments, respond to customer needs, and provide operational reports to senior management.
  • Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives: Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement. Participate in company-wide initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 - 10 years management experience in Distribution environment.
  • College degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Six Sigma Certification is a plus!
  • Ability to travel to multiple states for training.
  • Ability to compete and pass a criminal background screening.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing 70+ pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Requires prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
  • Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
  • Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift)
