Job description

Job Summary: Assist DVM and other hospital staff by providing direct care and maintenance of kennel, hospital and surroundings, feeding and general husbandry of boarding pets.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must treat animals with care and respect
  • Must enjoy keeping pets and environment clean
  • Must be able to communicate with clients and hospital staff

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
  • Dependable attendance
  • Any allergies to animals must be controlled through medication
  • Must be able to fit 40 pounds
  • Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions
  • Must be able to maintain accurate written and digital records

Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour depending on experience
