Production Assistant - HTS
Reports to: General Manager
Job Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

SUMMARY
The Production Assistant supports production with purchasing, data transactions, pulling parts and supporting warehouse operations to meet production requirements. Work with the management team to ensuring all production goals are achieved. Support the management team with ISO compliance and continual improvement.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES / (PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES)
• Read work orders, pick sheets, purchase reports, material labels, part drawings and inspection data records.
• Place purchase orders with vendors to support production demands and stock levels.
• Oversee the calibration, recertification of tools and test equipment.
• Use pick Sheets to pull parts for production or parts orders.
• Create work orders.
• Issue material to work orders in the system.
• WIP work orders to Inventory.
• Support warehouse with inventory counts and organization.
• Support warehouse in receiving materials in the system.
• Support shipping with Package and identify parts kits.
• Support assembly by learning the process and functionality by means of hands on training.
• Support the companies ISO goals as stated in the Company’s Mission Statement.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
• Follow company safety and security guidelines.
• Responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness and organization of work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
