The System Director of Perioperative and Procedural Services provides leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for perioperative and procedural services across HSHS, encompassing operating rooms, surgical support, and areas such as gastrointestinal, interventional, and cardiovascular labs. This role drives quality, safety, access, throughput, and financial performance while collaborating with hospital leaders, physician leadership, and system executives to standardize practices and optimize procedural workflows. Position Specifics: o Department: Operations o Core Function: Corporate Services o Schedule: Full Time, Hybrid-day to day remote, travel on site as needed (once a year) o Facility: IL Division Building o Location: Springfield, IL o Compensation that aligns with your experience**Education Qualifications*** Masters degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related Allied Health field is required.* Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related Allied Health field with at least 5 years of leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a masters degree.**Experience Qualifications*** 7 years of demonstrated leadership experience is required.* 5 years of leadership experience in perioperative services and procedural environments is required.* Experience in procedural throughput, access management, and surgical services performance improvement is required.* Experience with procedural services, including cath lab and/or invasive cardiovascular services is preferred.* Multi-site or system-level leadership experience is preferred.**Certifications, Licenses and Registrations*** Licensed in the state of practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) is preferred.Job DescriptionScheduled Weekly Hours:40Throughout communities in Illinois and Wisconsin, 13 hospitals, numerous community-based health centers and clinics, our 13,000+ colleagues have built a culture based on our solid core values of respect, care, competence, and joy.
