Job description


What You'll Do
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support services for staff and participants assigned to WeCARE as well as managing activity in busy reception areas.
Your responsibilities will include:
    • Provide participant reception services, including. greeting participants, answering, and directing phone calls.

    • Perform telephone outreach to individuals who failed to report for appointments.
    • Print reports and review for errors and inconsistencies.

    • Explains process and services to participants and obtains participant signatures for consent.

    • Assist in scheduling participant appointments.

    • Maintain participant medical documents, attendance records and files.

    • Enter participant demographic data and action codes and scan documents into computerized databases.

You're a great fit for this role if you have:
  • High school diploma or GED.
    • A bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
    • 1 year of full-time administrative support experience.
    • Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and be sensitive to maintaining confidentiality.
    • Experience working with public assistance recipients, the homeless, formerly incarcerated, and/or those affected by the challenges associated with poverty is a plus.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to enter data into specialized databases.

Compensation
$19.24-$20.20/hr.
