Caregiver Job Opportunity at Northwood Assisted Living

Join Our Team in Springfield, Ohio!

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at Northwood Assisted Living in Springfield, Ohio. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing individualized, compassionate, and innovative healthcare services to our residents. Our mission is to inspire each guest to achieve a full and meaningful life, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion and commitment to delivering exceptional care.

About the Role:

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living

  • Following safety guidelines in the community

  • Following the schedule of duties for the Caregiver, as well as the individual plan of care for each resident

  • Functioning as a team, assisting coworkers as the need arises

  • Monitoring resident activity, food intake, functional status, psychosocial status, taking action as required to promote resident well-being

  • Reporting status changes immediately to the supervisor

  • Acting immediately on any resident crisis, following protocol and basic first aid training

  • Promoting open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff
