Job description:
  • Own and grow a South, TX-based territory through aggressive prospecting and relationship development across manufacturing, logistics, and distribution clients
  • Sell custom corrugated boxes and packaging solutions tailored to customer specifications, operations, and cost objectives
  • Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, needs assessment, quoting, closing, and account management
  • Partner closely with internal production and design teams to deliver custom, cost-effective packaging solutions
  • Conduct in-person client visits throughout Houston and the surrounding areas to strengthen relationships and close business
  • Prepare RFQs/RFPs, pricing strategies, and product recommendations aligned with customer needs
  • Maintain a strong pipeline and accurately forecast sales activity using CRM tools
  • Stay connected to local market trends, key industries (energy, food & beverage, industrial manufacturing), and competitive landscape
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of packaging sales experience (must have corrugated sale experience)
  • Proven success in selling into the South, TX market and developing new business
  • Strong understanding of custom packaging solutions vs. commodity sales
  • An established network within Houston's manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors is a major plus
  • Ability to manage a territory independently with a hunter-driven mindset
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
