Job description

We're seeking a clinical nephrologist at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Transplantation. Located in the Texas Medical Center, this is a premier growing academic division dedicated to providing exceptional clinical care and engaged in extensive teaching and research activities within the department and institution.

The ideal candidate should possess clinical expertise in all areas of nephrology and kidney transplantation and share the passion and commitment to excellence in patient care and the academic mission of the division. The candidate is expected to provide the highest level of clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including outpatient dialysis, with a future focus on innovative care delivery and clinical growth.

Qualifications:

  • Residency: Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine (preferred)

  • Fellowship: Completion of an accredited Nephrology fellowship

  • Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in TX

  • Certification: BC/BE in Nephrology
