We are currently seeking an Economic Development Analyst to support our team of economic development professionals. The candidate will primarily serve as a research analyst for a variety of projects, including real estate and industry market analysis, feasibility studies, economic and fiscal impact analysis, and economic and development strategies. Other responsibilities will include grant writing and supporting the management of client-administered programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data related to demographics, economics, industries, real estate, housing and finance.
  • Synthesize data with qualitative research (interviews, surveys, focus groups, client comments) to arrive at findings.
  • Write up summaries that are meaningful and digestible to a non-technical audience.
  • Prepare presentations of those summaries with appealing visuals.
  • Conduct financial analysis, including economic and fiscal impact analysis, pro forma projections, etc.
  • Work on multiple projects and tasks at a given time, self-managing workload with support from supervisor as needed.
  • While not required at the outset, this individual has opportunity to grow over time into a project manager.
