Job description

Job Summary: This position will be primarily a daytime role, but may be some nights if needed. Weekend availability is required. The house person will be responsible for: 
  • Stripping Rooms
  • Making Beds
  • Doing Laundry
  • Covering Public Areas when Needed
  • Doing Stayover Cleaning

Responsibilities
  • Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and  other work areas
  • Primary focus is public spaces and ensuring those spaces are cleaned daily. 
  • Strip linens & trash from guest rooms
  • Stock closets and housekeeping carts
  • Vacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standards when needed 
  • Refurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.
  • Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred

  • Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
