Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspection of rooms, guest floors, services, and public areas.
  • Follows up with room attendants on all cleanliness discrepancies from prescribed standards. This includes discussion, documentation, and progressive disciplinary action when needed
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the front desk regarding late checkouts; do not disturb rooms, and discrepancy rooms
  • Controls daily key inventory, and monthly linen inventory
  • Ensures all associates use proper safety techniques
  • Maintains guest lost and found program in accordance with standards
  • Follows up with housemen on cleanliness of corridors, guest hallways, room detail cleaning, cleanliness of floors, shampoo of carpet, and keeping all housekeeping closets stocked and organized
  • Additional duties as described by the Housekeeping Management Team

Requirements:

  • 1+ years supervisory experience in a hotel environment
  • Brand experience is preferred
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as needed
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse TEAM
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with staff, guests, and other departments
  • Fluency in English: additional languages preferred. Spanish language skills are highly desired
  • Positive attitude that makes everyone feel welcome
