Position: Housekeeping
Location: Seattle (University District)
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Pay: $21.30/hr.
***This is a temporary position with an undetermined end date***
We currently have a housekeeping position available at a client in the University District neighborhood of Seattle. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of resident apartments and all common areas throughout the community. This role ensures every space remains clean, organized, sanitary, and safe for residents, guests, and team members. This role has regular interaction with residents, their families, and fellow team members and plays an important role in creating a warm and friendly environment for residents, their families, and other staff members.
Responsibilities
  • Clean resident apartments: bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms.
  • Clean and maintain common spaces, including restrooms and elevators, according to sanitation standards.
  • Ensure resident and common spaces remains safe, orderly, and comfortable.
  • Report supply needs to the appropriate staff member.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident requests.
  • Report hazards, maintenance issues, and changes in resident status to management.
  • Use supplies safely and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful attitude while upholding resident dignity and confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Customer service experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment, required
  • Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with seniors helpful
  • Comfortable working in an environment with pets including, but not limited to dogs, cats, and birds
