We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team.
Position Overview: Housekeeping Attendant
Under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout the facility. This role plays a vital part in resident comfort, safety, and overall quality of care by ensuring rooms and common areas meet established cleanliness standards.
โ€ข Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties in assigned areas according to established schedules
  2. Clean, sanitize, dust, damp-wipe, polish, and spot-clean resident rooms and furnishings using approved cleaning agents and equipment
  3. Maintain cleanliness of resident room items including beds, bed rails, nightstands, tables, chairs, shelves, light fixtures, TVs, radios, pictures, feeding tables, and door facings
  4. Follow proper cleaning procedures and infection control protocols at all times
  5. Ensure a consistently high standard of cleanliness throughout resident rooms and common areas
  6. Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department

Qualifications:
  1. Housekeeping experience preferred
  2. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  3. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward the elderly and disabled
  4. Ability to perform essential job functions, including physical and sensory requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation
  5. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures
