Overview
The Butler / Household Manager is responsible for delivering refined, invisible service to a private high-net-worth family across multiple residences - anticipating needs, moving seamlessly behind the scenes, and exercising impeccable judgment in timing, presence, and discretion. This role blends traditional butler service with modern household operations oversight, ensuring impeccable hospitality, organization, and home readiness at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Service and Hospitality
  • Execute formal and informal service with precision and professionalism
  • Manage dining preparation, table settings, beverage service, and guest hosting
  • Oversee household ambiance including lighting, floral rotations, temperature, and environmental standards
  • Assist with menu planning, coordinate meal logistics with chefs, and ensure that all dining details align with the principal's preferences
  • Anticipate family and guest needs with a proactive and service-first approach
Household Management
  • Maintain daily readiness, ensuring standards of order, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Oversee housekeeping activities with a focus on attention to detail and quality control

  • Pack and unpack with care for all travel, ensuring efficiency, planning, and foresight
  • Coordinate laundry, dry cleaning, tailoring, and specialty care items
  • Maintain personal items, accessories, and travel needs in a meticulous manner
Events and Entertaining
  • Assist with planning and execution of private events, dinners, and gatherings
  • Collaborate with the house chef to select and prepare appropriate silverware, flatware, and glassware.
  • Coordinate catering, staffing, rental vendors, florists, and entertainment providers
  • Oversee set-up, flow, guest experience, and breakdown with discretion and composure
  • Uphold discretion, composure, and polished service throughout all gatherings
Errands and Daily Support
  • Handle personal and household errands with confidentiality and efficiency
  • Assist with deliveries, reservations, gifting, and special requests

  • Valid passport and ability to travel extensively without restriction.
  • Valid driver's license with ability to drive internationally.
