Flexibility and problem-solving skills are valuable, particularly when caring for pets or responding to unforeseen events like appliance malfunctions.

What is house sitting?

House sitting is a service where an individual stays in someone’s home while the owner is away, to take care of the property and often pets. Duties can include watering plants, collecting mail, performing basic maintenance, and ensuring the home appears lived-in to deter potential intruders. House sitters may stay for a few days or several months, depending on the owner's needs. This arrangement provides homeowners with peace of mind and can offer house sitters free accommodation or a small payment.
