Job description

Position Summary:


The in-house photographer is accountable for the effective representation of company products on all web properties, both in-house and on e-commerce marketplace platforms. This primarily
relates to graphics, imaging, and video content. This position is also responsible for the quality of all customer-facing sales and marketing materials and touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

- Creative development of digital assets including photos, video, and graphics. Must bring the highest level of excellence to all work to achieve consistent outputs.
- Photography of new and existing products, photo manipulation, color shifting and adjustment, and proper output for each media.
- Shoot and produce product videos, including all organization and set up of shoots.
- Create graphics as needed for websites, newsletters, promotions, product launches, packages, instruction sheets, etc.
- Ensure consistency of brand tone, 'voice', and messaging throughout all projects.
- Capture visually engaging photographs of a wide variety of products. Imagery will be utilized for a variety of channels including but not limited to the website, catalogs, direct mail and our social media sites
- Working with the Marketing and Sales Departments, create a consistent visual style that

represents our brand identity and maintains our standards


- Keep the photography organized on the server in the correct folder structure, with proper naming conventions.
- Product styling as needed
- Photo editing as needed including color correction, photo retouching, and resizing
- Responsible for maintaining the proper care of photographic and lighting equipment in the Photo Room space.

Within standard working hours, 40 hours per week, plan and work according to the detailed plans below as a photographer.

Phase 1


Focusing on the soft landing and building teamwork with coworkers

- Analyze current photo styles and try to apply unique photo styles from Korea
- Work closely with other photographers to find better ways to build up styles for trend notes
- Best outputs and qualities through re-touching and Photoshop techniques
- Develop various postures customized to models and build good relationships to get the best performance and quality

Phase 2

After the adjusting phase, try to set up new photo styles for trend notes

- Try a different set of lighting
- Find a new set of lighting
- Try new angles and lenses to present different atmosphere
- Apply more detailed product shots to deliver more product information to customers

Phase 3

Renovate homepage visuals and keep searching for new models

- Work closely with in-house designers to renovate homepage layouts to maximize the

product images

- Keep searching for new models to refresh the overall atmosphere according to upcoming seasons
- Advise make-up directions to get perfect photos
- Advise new side items to present styles well

Phase 4

Maintaining and upgrading studio setups

- Install backdrops for various atmosphere
- Use various background colors according to product styles
- Keep exploring outdoor locations for photoshoot

Phase 5

Analyze fashion trends in the US and perform competitive analysis

- Investigate competitors' websites to find differences and apply learnings if required
- Improve user experiences on trendnotes.com
- Be prepared for upcoming seasons with fashion trend analysis

Successfully handover learnings and implications over 3 years
