Position Overview

Fitzpatrick Painting & Construction is hiring experienced painters with a minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience to join our growing team.

We are looking for dependable, skilled painters who take pride in their work and can perform quality residential and commercial painting with minimal supervision. This is an experienced painter position — 2+ years of professional painting experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform residential and commercial painting projects

  • Complete surface preparation, including sanding, masking, scraping, caulking, patching, and cleaning

  • Paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment when applicable

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites

  • Protect customer property and finished surfaces

  • Communicate professionally with team members, customers, and supervisors

  • Follow company safety guidelines and quality standards

  • Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality results

  • Complete assigned work within expected timeframes

  • Assist with other job-related tasks as needed

Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of professional painting experience required

  • Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial painting practices

  • Proficient with brush and roller application

  • Experience with surface preparation and proper painting techniques

  • Reliable transportation to and from job sites daily

  • Ability to work overtime, especially during the peak summer season

  • Comfortable working on ladders and in active job site environments
