What are hours in the context of a job?

In the context of a job, 'hours' typically refer to the amount of time an employee is scheduled or expected to work. This can be expressed as weekly hours, such as 40 hours per week for a full-time position, or as specific shifts or daily schedules. It's common to encounter both full-time and part-time options, as well as the possibility of overtime during busy periods. Some positions may also offer remote or hybrid work arrangements, depending on company policies and the nature of the work. It's important to clarify expectations during the interview process to ensure the role aligns with your personal needs and work-life balance goals.
