Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a QA Test Engineer in Boca Raton, FL to support web application testing initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test solutions to ensure high-quality product delivery across sprint cycles. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and sprint-level test cases
* Develop and enhance automated test frameworks using tools such as Playwright or Selenium
* Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into clear, repeatable test scenarios
* Validate system changes, identifying defects across functionality, UI, data, and performance
* Perform backend validation using SQL queries to ensure data accuracy
* Log, track, and verify defects using a bug tracking system
* Support test planning, scheduling, and execution aligned with project timelines
* Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
* Utilize version control tools (e.g., GitHub) to manage test assets
* Contribute to CI/CD processes and continuous testing practices
* Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
* 2-5 years of experience in QA, software testing, or quality engineering
* Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or BDD frameworks
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
* Experience writing SQL queries for data validation
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
* Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Skills:
* Exposure to ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
