Third Shift Position

Starting Pay: $20.00+ per hour
Minimum Age: Must be 18 years or older

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process product using knives, tools, manual labor, and company‑provided equipment in accordance with FDA regulations and Pilgrim’s quality standards.
  • Follow established operating procedures to meet quality and production expectations.
  • Monitor equipment operation and promptly report any malfunctions, safety concerns, or unusual conditions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support team members by sharing knowledge and assisting as needed.
  • Follow all company policies related to personnel, safety, food safety, and quality.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by communicating and working cooperatively with co‑workers, leadership, and internal partners.
  • Identify and respond appropriately to safety risks; consistently model and reinforce safe work habits.
  • Participate in process improvement efforts using continuous improvement and problem‑solving methods.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION 

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Previous food production or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and follow simple instructions.
  • Ability to apply common sense and sound judgment.
  • Ability to resolve routine problems involving a few concrete variables.
  • Ability to work in cold environments (approximately 40°F).
  • Ability to stand, use hands, and perform repetitive tasks for 8–12 hours per day.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in close proximity to other team members (within 3 feet).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination.
