Job description

Neufeldt Industrial Services, Inc is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Mobile Crane Operator with a NCCCO license to join our team. We are a family owned company which primarily operates within 100 miles of Red Wing, MN. Serving the area since 1975.


The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge operating various types of cranes, with a deep understanding of load charts, hand signals, and safety protocols. Applicant needs to be a member in good standing or willing to join the local 49ers union. We have mobile hydraulic cranes from 30 to 70 tons. We are a taxi crane company and our work includes lifting rooftop ac units, millwright work, building trusses, catwalks, and everything in between.

Qualifications

  • Valid crane operator TSS, TLL, NCCCO certification and license.
  • Hold a valid Class A CDL and maintain the DOT physicals.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in rigging in addition to taxi crane operating.
  • Maintain working knowledge of load charts, hand signals, and state and federal DOT laws.
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize daily work assignments, and communicate with all levels of employees.
  • Have a complete knowledge of crane and rigging signals.
  • Know the emergency response procedures for mobile crane operations.


Responsibilities

  • Operate TSS/TLL cranes.
  • Taking crane to and from jobsite, reviewing location and deciding on proper crane placement, setup, and operating the crane.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
  • May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
  • Maintain clear communication with ground crew using hand signals or radios.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on cranes and other heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Read and understand lifting capacity charts.
  • Must maintain a log book.

Performs other duties as required.
