What is an Hourly Traveling RBT?

An Hourly Traveling RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) is a credentialed professional who provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to clients, typically children with autism or other developmental disorders, at multiple locations. Unlike a traditional RBT who might work in a single clinic or school, a traveling RBT moves between clients’ homes, schools, or community settings as needed. They work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and help implement treatment plans to improve clients’ behavioral, social, and communication skills.
