ACC GROW Associate I (Hourly)

The ACC GROW program at Austin Community College is designed to bridge working learners' academic experiences with essential career competencies defined by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). Through ACC GROW, working learners will acquire, apply, and enhance essential job skills vital for career success while improving their digital fluency and professionalism. By progressing through the program to the ACC GROW Associate III level, students will evolve professionally, boost their earning potential, and become better prepared to meet the demands of Central Texas employers.

The ACC GROW Associate I position is designed to integrate students' academic learning with practical, on-campus work experiences, fostering the development of essential career competencies. Through guided reflections and mentorship, student employees enhance their skills in areas such as communication, critical thinking, and professionalism, preparing them for successful employment after graduation. This role supports Austin Community College's commitment to student success by transforming student employment into a meaningful pathway for career readiness.

Job Description:

The ACC GROW Associate I position focuses on the application of each individual student's academic learning and the acquisition and strengthening of the following core career competencies:
