Job description

StruXure Bay Area is a small, close-knit team specializing in premium pergola systems. We're proud to work with some of the Bay Area's most prestigious clients, delivering premium pergola systems across breathtaking properties that range from Napa Valley wine country retreats to Peninsula luxury estates. We're looking for a versatile, motivated individual to work directly alongside our owner, someone who thrives on variety, takes ownership of their work, and wants to grow with the business. You'll touch operations, client relations, and eventually sales, making a real impact from day one.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operations (hourly base):

- Day-to-day administrative tasks

- Respond to and nurture inbound leads (no cold calling, all leads are people who have already reached out to us)

- Support active projects with permit coordination

- Keep the owner focused and organized

Sales- as you grow with the company (base + commission):

- Move qualified leads through the sales cycle

- Conduct field design verification site visits

- Prepare and present customized quotes

- Travel throughout the SF Bay Area to meet clients

- Become a pergola system expert

YOUR GROWTH PATH

Phase 1: Admin & lead nurturing

Phase 2: Project & permit support

Phase 3: Field visits & quoting

This role is designed to evolve with you. As your knowledge of our systems deepens, so does your responsibility and your earning potential. Commission starts from day one and scales with your role. Once fully leading the sales cycle, top performers can expect OTE of $150k+ annually.

Don't know a pergola from an awning? That's okay. We provide full training on our products and systems. You'll learn our systems inside and out with the team alongside you every step of the way."

QUALIFICATIONS

- High school diploma or GED required; additional education in sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or client management

- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

- Highly motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills

- Proficiency with CRM software, email, and other business tools

- Basic understanding of outdoor structures, home improvement products, or construction — or a genuine eagerness to learn

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team setting

- Willingness to travel locally around the SF Bay Area for client meetings and consultations

YOU MIGHT BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU...

- Are organized, self-directed, and comfortable wearing many hats

- Enjoy building genuine relationships with clients

- Can communicate clearly and professionally in writing and in person

- Are excited by the idea of learning a product deeply and eventually selling it

- Are comfortable traveling around the Bay Area for client meetings

- Thrive in a small-team environment where your work is seen and valued

- Have experience in administrative support, sales, project coordination, or construction — any combination welcome
