Job Summary:
The essential function of this job is to provide administrative support to the Senior Manager of Ski Patrol, Assistant Managers, Avalanche Forecasters, and Patrollers. General clerical duties include purchasing and tracking of supplies, filing, word processing, data entry and record maintenance/retention. The position will assist with scheduling, completion of onboarding and offboarding, and budgeting. This position will oversee Mountain Dispatch operations and help with daily Mountain Operations as needed.


Job Specifications:

  

  • Starting Wage: $27.00 - $35.20 
  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027  
  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available 
  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all administrative needs of the Patrol department are met such as ordering, data entry, reporting, filing and staff communications.
  • Manage employee onboarding processes, including orientation, paperwork, and training.
  • Manage payroll and timekeeping entry and auditing ensuring timely corrections for discrepancies, and escalating concerns as necessary to management.
  • Support Training Supervisor with reporting, tracking, and scheduling.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding HR related issues maintaining confidentiality when working with sensitive information.
  • Assist with patrol budget preparation and tracking.
  • Act as proxy for Senior Manager on company systems.
  • Assist with documentation of avalanche control, training, and personnel records
  • Oversight of Mountain Dispatch operations and daily mountain operations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 seasons in Mountain Operations or equivalent experience
  • Preferred to have supervisory experience within Mountain Operations
  • WFR/EMT certification or the ability to obtain
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Ability to speak, read and communicate in English
  • Ability to work with confidential information
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative work

The expected pay range is $27.00 - $35.20. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
