Job description

Full Time: Sewing Machine Operator
Arc Herkimer wants you to assist with our sewing needs. You would operate multiple types of sewing machines depending on the type of contracts we are working with.
Sewing Machine Operator starting rate is $16/hr.
Monday to Friday 6:30 am- 2:30 pm.
  • 18+ years old is required.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two years of experience operating manufacturing machines or two years' experience with machines such as single needle, double needle, overlock, bar tacker, lock stitch, hemmer and embroiderer.
  • Prefer experience on industrial style machines.

You will have the chance to see consumer goods through production, while making an impact on the work we do.
  • Produce and maintain high level of quality output to meet customer demands.
  • Change needle, thread, and replace bobbin on machines and perform general machine maintenance.
  • Report any problems, unsafe conditions and pertinent information to supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Work site is located in Ilion.
