Machine Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to join a manufacturing team producing high-quality plastic packaging products. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with previous manufacturing experience and strong mechanical aptitude. Operators will be responsible for running blow molding equipment, monitoring production, troubleshooting minor machine issues, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate blow molding, trimming, grinding, and conveyor equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor machine performance and perform minor troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Complete machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup following work instructions.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read gauges, meters, and machine controls to monitor production.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes when trained and authorized.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
  • Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
