Job Title: Senior Product Manager - App Partner Ecosystem
Location: Mountain View, California
Work Arrangement: Onsite / Hybrid based on client requirements
Pay Rate: $112 - $116 per hour
Employment Type: Contract (6-months)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to support a global app partner ecosystem and developer platform program for a leading SaaS and fintech organization.

In this role, the Senior Product Manager will define and lead the roadmap for an App Partner Program and the ecosystem platform capabilities that enable third-party partners and developers to build, grow, and scale on the company's platform.

This role sits at the intersection of partner programs, developer platforms, partner integrations, ecosystem strategy, and product execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong product management experience, a data-driven mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across engineering, design, partner program management, business development, internal teams, and external partners.

The successful candidate will own roadmap execution, partner tiering strategy, backlog prioritization, requirements definition, agile delivery, stakeholder alignment, and partner/customer feedback loops to deliver measurable value for customers, partners, and developers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and drive product strategy and roadmap for the App Partner Program and related ecosystem platform capabilities.
  • Translate product strategy into an actionable, outcomes-driven roadmap with clear priorities, success metrics, and delivery milestones.
  • Define, evolve, and optimize the partner program tiering model, such as Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels.
  • Establish tier eligibility requirements, benefits, and value propositions across partner workspaces and stages of partner growth.
  • Partner closely with engineering, design, partner program management, business development, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, decision-making, and execution.
  • Manage role clarity, dependency coordination, escalations, and delivery sequencing across internal teams and external partners.
  • Ruthlessly prioritize the product backlog and ensure the team is focused on high-impact initiatives that align with business and partner outcomes.
  • Engage directly with third-party partners, developers, and customers to understand pain points, opportunities, and ecosystem needs.
  • Translate partner and customer insights into product requirements, platform capabilities, and scalable solutions.
  • Write clear, detailed product requirements, user stories, and specifications that provide engineering teams with the context needed to build effectively.
  • Drive product development from design through release in an agile environment.
  • Serve as product owner for a scrum team, including supporting scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and team education on product strategy and roadmap.
  • Use data and analytics to define success metrics, prioritize requirements, evaluate product performance, and communicate product decisions.
  • Present product plans, progress, risks, trade-offs, and outcomes to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex technical or platform-related topics in a simple, persuasive, and business-focused way to support fast decision-making.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience.
  • Experience with developer platforms, partner ecosystems, partner programs, platform products, integrations, or SaaS-based product environments.
  • Experience working in or supporting a software, SaaS, fintech, developer platform, or partner ecosystem environment.
  • Strong analytical, prioritization, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience serving as a product owner for a scrum team.
  • Experience managing scrum ceremonies and helping teams understand product strategy, priorities, and roadmap direction.
  • Strong ability to write detailed product requirements, specifications, and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to use data, analytics, and business metrics to support product decisions.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across engineering, design, business, program, and partner-facing teams.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical problems clearly and convincingly.
  • Proven ability to deliver results at scale and impact critical business metrics.
  • Undergraduate degree required in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building, shipping, and scaling platform capabilities.
  • Experience in the integrations space, including third-party integrations, app marketplaces, API platforms, or developer ecosystems.
  • Experience within a SaaS-based fintech or financial technology environment.
  • Experience defining partner programs, partner tiers, partner benefits, eligibility requirements, or ecosystem growth strategies.
  • Experience working directly with external partners, developers, or third-party software providers. MBA is a plus.
