Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Monroe, Michigan

Our 150-bed sub-acute rehabilitation and healthcare center is located in the heart of Monroe, MI, and we take pride in our reputation for clinical excellence and exemplary quality measures.

Shifts Offered:

Day Shift: 7am-7pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! As a CNA at Seacrest Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide individualized care that meets the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
• Help patients with mobility and transfers, such as walking, standing, and sitting
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and interactions
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Michigan
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 0 years of experience as a CNA (new graduates welcome!)
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients with maximum care and safety
