Seattle, WA

Location: Seattle, WA

Job Type: Full-Time (36 hours/week)

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts

About the Role:

Our client, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Neuro Epilepsy RN to join their specialized neurology team. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is passionate about providing high-quality neurological care.

As a Neuro Epilepsy RN, you will play a critical role in monitoring, assessing, and treating patients with epilepsy, stroke, and other neurological conditions. You'll collaborate with an expert team of neurologists and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients with epilepsy, seizures, stroke, and other neurological conditions.
  • Monitor and assess EEGs, seizure activity, and neurological status to support timely interventions.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the care team.
  • Educate patients and families on seizure management, medication protocols, and post-discharge care.
  • Ensure patient safety and align with best practices and quality standards in neuro-focused nursing care.
  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington (or eligibility to obtain).
  • BLS Certification (American Heart Association).
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or willingness to complete within 90 days of hire).
  • Minimum 1 year of Neuro Epilepsy nursing experience in an inpatient setting (residency/clinical rotations do not count).
  • Strong ability to work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment.
