Job description

Staff Nurse

The Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and supervise department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes. The Staff Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span, and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition. The Staff Nurse will support providers in clinic (rooming patients, wound care, cast/splint/DME application and removal) and work with other Peds RNs to schedule surgeries. The Staff Nurse will triage patient phone calls/messages and complete patient paperwork.

Minimum Requirements

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
  • Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina.
  • Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice.
  • Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range

  • Outpatient RN hourly range > $30.00 - $43.73
  • Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.

Location/Department: ECU Health Orthopedic Trauma Clinic (Pediatric Team) - Greenville, NC

This position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

No nights, call or weekends
