Position Overview
Role: RN - Pediatric

Schedule: Full Time, Night Shift, 36 Hours/Week (7 PM - 7 AM), every third weekend

Preferred Experience: Background in pediatric hematology/oncology is advantageous.

Job Summary
The RN will deliver direct nursing care in alignment with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee patient care plans, ensuring accurate monitoring, recording, and communication of patient conditions.
- Act as the primary coordinator among various disciplines to ensure seamless patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders effectively.
- Assess and manage patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing school or equivalent educational background for licensing.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly use speech for effective oral communication.
- Consistently stand and walk throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing between 0-25 lbs.
- Engage in frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry tasks.
- Utilize vision for near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) distances, including color differentiation.
- Employ smell to identify and recognize various odors.
- Use hearing to receive oral communication and detect body sounds or alarms.
- Occasionally lift or move objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Occasionally assist in lifting or moving patients.
- Occasionally perform bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, gripping, and repetitive movements with legs and arms.
- Occasionally drive as required.
- Rarely engage in crawling or running activities.
