Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to assist clients in identifying and addressing mental health challenges, emotional distress, and interpersonal issues.
• Implement treatment plans that are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of clients dealing with mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Ensure client confidentiality and safety through professional conduct and ethical decision-making during all counseling sessions.
• Utilize the provided cloud-based EHR to document sessions, track progress, and maintain adherence to treatment protocols.
• Manage your schedule effectively, incorporating flexibility for evenings and weekends as required to meet client needs.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will encompass a diverse group including individuals who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health issues. The focus will be on providing comprehensive support that guides them towards empowerment and recovery, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling.
• A reliable laptop or desktop computer with a dependable internet connection and web camera for telehealth sessions.
• Ability to independently manage your workload while effectively collaborating with team members when necessary.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Preferred Experience

Experience in treating a wide range of mental health issues, familiarity with telehealth methods, and comfort using electronic health records will greatly enhance your effectiveness in this role. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based therapy techniques is highly desirable.
