• Conduct diagnostic evaluations of clients, utilizing the DSM for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Provide short-term psychotherapy through telehealth platforms, ensuring that client interactions are effective and supportive.
• Manage a caseload of 10-30 billable hours weekly, customizing therapy approaches to meet each client's unique needs.
• Deliver counseling services across various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy, focusing on mental health and dual diagnosis disorders.
• Engage in crisis intervention and wellness planning, assisting clients in navigating traumatic events and stressful situations.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in an interdisciplinary team to create integrated care plans for clients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes within electronic health record systems.
• Participate in regular clinical team meetings to discuss cases and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Odyssey House, you'll work with a broad spectrum of clients, including individuals and families coping with mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, and relational difficulties. Our diverse patient population includes both adults and youth from various cultural backgrounds. This diversity requires clinicians to employ culturally sensitive and evidence-based practices to ensure effective communication and healing.

• Must hold a valid LMFT license in the state of Texas or possess a Psy.D.
• Preferred educational background includes a Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in delivering psychotherapy services is required.
• Proficiency in using telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems is essential.

• Experience working within a community health setting is a plus.
• A strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and therapeutic interventions.
• Prior experience with crisis intervention and competency in family systems therapy.

The compensation range for this position is between $75,000 and $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
