Job description

With our headquarters in Stamford, CT, DFWS is the 4th largest wine company with one of the fastest growing spirits portfolios. With our family values and unique culture, DFWS was recognized as one of the Top Workplaces in the U.S. from 2022-2026.

Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Website Operations Manager. This role will serve as the primary owner of our portfolio of brand websites, overseeing website operations, support, enhancements, and redesign initiatives across the organization. • Serve as the primary owner of the DFWS website portfolio across multiple brands.
  • Oversee day-to-day website operations, ongoing enhancements, support activities, and platform health.
  • Ensure site stability, performance, uptime, governance, and operational continuity.
  • Manage content publishing processes, website configurations, redirects, forms, integrations, and platform administration.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders and technology teams to resolve website-related issues and requests.

Website Redesign & Project Delivery

  • Lead website redesign projects from discovery through launch using project management methodologies that are specific to DFWS.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions, requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, content planning, testing, and launch activities.
  • Partner with agency resources for complex development efforts, design implementation, technical architecture, and large-scale website builds.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and communication plans.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, budgets, issue resolution, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and post-launch stabilization activities.

Website Support & Release Management

  • Manage intake, prioritization, and execution of website enhancement requests including a backlog of improvements.
  • Perform hands-on support work such as content updates, page edits, redirects, metadata updates, form adjustments, tag updates, and CMS configuration changes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues involving content, functionality, integrations, navigation, analytics tagging, and user experience.
  • Manage integrations connecting websites with ecommerce, CRM, email marketing, customer data, and content platforms.
  • Ensure data integrity across connected systems and digital experiences.
  • Oversee release planning, testing, deployment, and post-release validation activities.
  • Document website processes, configurations, support procedures, and governance standards.

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure websites comply with applicable accessibility, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with IT Security to maintain secure website operations.
  • Support governance related to cookies, tracking technologies, privacy compliance, and digital data collection practices.
  • Stay informed on evolving regulatory requirements affecting digital experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Marketing or related field
  • 5+ years of experience managing websites, digital platforms, and web operations
  • Experience leading website redesign projects and coordinating cross-functional digital initiatives
  • Demonstrated expertise with Shopify (Shopify Plus and Hydrogen experience preferred)
  • Strong project management and vendor management experience
  • Experience working with external agencies and development partners
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable website solutions
  • Experience maintaining and administering modern website platforms and CMS solutions
  • Strong understanding of website technologies, integrations, APIs, web hooks, and digital ecosystems
