Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing rapport and maintaining professional ethics while forming supportive and therapeutic relationships.
• Conduct regular sessions to assess client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate, always focusing on their mental health journey.
• Develop individualized, client-centered treatment plans that address each client's unique needs, goals, and challenges.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, including progress notes and treatment updates, to track client development and ensure quality of care.
• Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate new clients' needs and determine appropriate therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Touchstone Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from diverse backgrounds. The center aims to provide optimal mental health care in the least restrictive environment, thus empowering clients to find their path to recovery and enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Current and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting following your postgraduate education.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and general computer literacy, including proficiency with tools such as Excel spreadsheets, Outlook, and practice management software like PIMSY.
