As a Mental Health Counselor at Solace Haven, you will connect with clients via secure video conferencing platforms, utilizing state-of-the-art electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status to identify challenges and set achievable therapeutic goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based and culturally responsive methodologies tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Facilitate regular therapy sessions, employing both individual and group therapy modalities to foster personal growth and community support.

• Collaborate with clients to provide skills and strategies for managing their mental health challenges, equipping them with the tools necessary for lasting change.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and external support services, to ensure comprehensive treatment and care.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse range of clients facing varied mental health conditions such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse issues. • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New York State.

• Minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in mental health settings.

• Robust understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methods, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, with proven cultural responsiveness and inclusivity in treatment approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Familiarity with various EHR systems and proficiency in using digital tools to document and track patient progress.

• A commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a holistic approach to client care.
