Job description

Seven Media | Remote | Part-Time with Opportunity for Growth

About Seven Media

Seven Media is a growing talent management agency representing digital creators and livestream talent.

We work closely with creators to help them grow their platforms, develop their personal brands, and create meaningful opportunities beyond simply going LIVE.

We are currently expanding the brand partnerships and talent development side of our agency and are looking for a motivated, experienced professional to help us build relationships between our creators and brands.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who understands both sides of the creator economy.

The ideal candidate will be able to identify commercially valuable creators, understand how to position them, identify brands that align with their audiences, and turn those connections into paid partnerships.

About the Role

As a Creator Partnerships & Brand Development Manager, you will help develop and grow Seven Media's brand partnership pipeline.

Your responsibilities will span:

  • Creator positioning
  • Brand research
  • Lead generation
  • Brand outreach
  • Influencer pitching
  • Partnership development
  • Campaign strategy
  • Negotiation support
  • Creator recruitment
  • Creator onboarding
  • Relationship management
  • Follow-up and pipeline management

This position is ideal for someone with experience in influencer marketing, talent management, brand partnerships, social media marketing, sales, or business development who wants the opportunity to help build something rather than simply manage an existing book of business.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Partnerships & Business Development

  • Research and identify brands that align with Seven Media creators
  • Identify relevant marketing, social media, influencer, PR, and partnership contacts
  • Develop targeted outreach strategies
  • Create personalized brand pitches
  • Present creators and campaign concepts to prospective partners
  • Develop relationships with brands and marketing professionals
  • Follow up consistently and professionally
  • Help move prospects from initial outreach through campaign discussions
  • Assist with proposals, negotiations, and closing partnerships
  • Identify opportunities for repeat campaigns and long-term brand relationships

Creator Positioning

Work with Seven Media creators to understand and communicate their commercial value.

This includes evaluating:

  • Audience demographics
  • Content niche
  • Engagement
  • Personality
  • Content style
  • Audience interests
  • Brand affinity
  • Previous partnerships
  • Growth potential

You should be able to clearly answer:

"Why should this brand work with this creator?"

Creator Recruitment & Onboarding

As the role develops, you will also assist with identifying and recruiting creators who have strong potential for brand partnerships.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Identifying promising creators
  • Conducting initial outreach
  • Explaining Seven Media's services and value
  • Helping creators understand partnership opportunities
  • Supporting creator onboarding
  • Understanding creator goals and interests
  • Preparing creators for brand opportunities
  • Maintaining ongoing creator relationships

Campaign Development

Help develop partnership concepts that provide value to both the creator and the brand.

This may include:

  • Campaign concepts
  • Deliverable recommendations
  • Creator/brand positioning
  • Content ideas
  • Campaign structure
  • Pricing discussions
  • Usage considerations
  • Exclusivity considerations
  • Campaign timelines

Seven Media will maintain final approval over contracts, pricing, and agreements.

Compensation

This position will begin as a part-time contract opportunity, with the potential to expand based on performance and business needs.

Base Compensation

$20-$30 /hour starting rate

Initial hours are expected to be approximately 10 hours per week for 2-4 weeks, with the opportunity for additional hours as the partnership pipeline develops.

Performance Commission

In addition to hourly compensation, this position includes:

5% commission on qualifying brand partnership contracts that you directly source and/or close.

Examples:

  • $1,000 campaign = $50 commission
  • $5,000 campaign = $250 commission
  • $10,000 campaign = $500 commission
  • $25,000 campaign = $1,250 commission

Commission will be paid after Seven Media receives payment from the brand.

The compensation structure is intentionally designed to provide meaningful upside for someone who is successful at developing and closing brand partnerships.

Growth Opportunity

We are looking for someone who can grow with the company.

The initial position will be part-time, but successful performance may lead to:

  • Increased weekly hours
  • Expanded responsibilities
  • Larger creator portfolio
  • Greater ownership of brand partnerships
  • Increased earning potential
  • Long-term contractor opportunities
  • Potential future employment opportunities as Seven Media grows

The long-term goal is to build a dedicated brand partnerships function within Seven Media, and the right person could play a significant role in building that operation.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in influencer marketing, talent management, brand partnerships, business development, sales, or a closely related field
  • Strong understanding of social media and the creator economy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong research and prospecting abilities
  • Ability to identify relevant brands and decision-makers
  • Ability to create personalized, compelling pitches
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with performance-based compensation

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following is strongly preferred:

  • Influencer or creator talent management
  • Brand partnership development
  • Influencer campaign sales
  • Social media marketing
  • Creator recruitment
  • Talent agencies
  • Marketing agencies
  • PR agencies
  • UGC campaigns
  • Affiliate marketing
  • Brand sponsorships
  • Campaign negotiations
  • Influencer pricing
  • Usage rights and licensing
  • Exclusivity agreements
  • CRM or sales pipeline management
  • Campaign reporting and ROI analysis

Existing relationships with brands, marketing agencies, PR firms, or marketing professionals are a plus, but not required.

What Success Looks Like

We are not interested in simply generating a large list of brands or sending hundreds of generic emails.

Success means identifying high-quality opportunities and turning them into meaningful conversations.

We will evaluate performance based on:

  • Quality of brand prospects
  • Quality of creator/brand matches
  • Personalized outreach
  • Brand response rates
  • Qualified conversations
  • Meetings generated
  • Proposals developed
  • Partnerships closed
  • Revenue generated
  • Repeat partnership opportunities
  • Creator satisfaction
  • Organization and follow-through

The strongest candidate will understand that a creator's value is not determined solely by follower count.

They will know how to identify the intersection between:

Creator + Audience + Content + Brand + Campaign Objective

Ideal Candidate

You may be a strong fit if you are someone who:

  • Naturally thinks in terms of partnerships and opportunities
  • Understands how brands evaluate creators
  • Enjoys researching companies and finding the right decision-makers
  • Can write a pitch that sounds human rather than automated
  • Understands how to sell value rather than simply sell reach
  • Is comfortable initiating conversations
  • Is persistent without being pushy
  • Can manage multiple relationships simultaneously
  • Has strong attention to detail
  • Wants ownership and autonomy
  • Is motivated by performance and earning potential
  • Wants to grow alongside an expanding agency

Initial Onboarding & Evaluation

The position will begin with a small group of Seven Media creators.

This allows us to establish our working relationship and evaluate how effectively you:

  • Understand creator positioning
  • Identify appropriate brands
  • Research potential partners
  • Develop campaign concepts
  • Create pitches
  • Conduct outreach
  • Generate qualified conversations
  • Move opportunities forward

We understand that brand partnerships can have longer sales cycles, so initial success will not be based solely on immediately closing a deal.

We are looking for evidence that you can build a high-quality, actionable partnership pipeline and improve your approach based on results.

Why Seven Media?

This is an opportunity to join a growing agency at a stage where you can have a meaningful impact.

You won't simply be handed an established list of accounts and asked to maintain them.

You'll have the opportunity to help shape:

  • How Seven Media positions its talent
  • Which brands we pursue
  • How we pitch creators
  • How we structure partnerships
  • How we develop long-term brand relationships
  • How our brand partnership department grows

For the right person, this can develop into a significant leadership opportunity as the company expands.

How to Apply

Please submit a resume along with a brief description of your experience in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, brand development, sales, or talent management.

We would especially like to hear about specific brand partnerships you have personally helped source, pitch, negotiate, or close.

If possible, include:

  • Examples of brand partnerships you've worked on
  • Approximate campaign values
  • Types of creators you've represented or worked with
  • Types of brands you've worked with
  • Your specific role in generating or closing those opportunities
  • Any measurable results you're able to share

Application Question

Please answer the following in your application:

If we gave you a creator with 25,000 followers, how would you determine which brands to pitch them to?

We are interested in your thought process, not simply a list of brands.

Seven Media is an equal opportunity business. We are looking for talented, motivated professionals who are excited about creators, brands, and building meaningful partnerships.
