Position Overview

Mariveles Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team as a Remote Care Specialist. This full-time position provides a unique opportunity to perform vital social work services from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact in the lives of clients in and around Boulder, Colorado. Our focus is on assisting individuals and families dealing with complex issues such as child abuse, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.

About the Organization

At Mariveles Behavioral Health, we take pride in our commitment to delivering personalized mental health and social services that support our clients in their healing journeys. Our Hospice Center setting allows us to provide crucial support to clients transitioning through difficult life circumstances. We believe in a client-centered approach that emphasizes empathy, cultural competency, and ongoing support, driving our mission to uplift the lives of those we serve.

Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing the successful candidate to conduct assessments, deliver counseling, and implement care plans via telehealth and phone consultations. Despite the remote nature of the job, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential, as team members come together periodically to discuss case management and share insights to enhance client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage personalized support packages to assist clients in navigating difficulties and overcoming dependencies based on a comprehensive assessment of their needs.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to assess their current mental health conditions, strengths, weaknesses, and specific needs.
  • Set measurable, tailored goals for each client, routinely monitoring and adjusting treatment plans to ensure the best possible care.
  • Provide crisis intervention and engage clients in developing strategies for better outcomes during sessions.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records to monitor progress and report on the status of clientsโ€™ treatment.
  • Participate in case conferences, collaboratively discussing case details with other professionals, and providing evidence as needed in legal settings.
  • Serve as a key worker, working alongside multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic support.
  • Refer clients to appropriate community resources and services that align with their recovery goals.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, families, and adults facing significant life challenges. Many clients have experienced trauma or are currently in crisis situations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable providing therapeutic support and guidance to those affected by issues such as neglect, abuse, and mental health disorders, ensuring that each individual receives the empathy and care they deserve.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a regionally accredited university is required.
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in delivering social work services and counseling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
  • Strong cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional ethics and ongoing personal development.
  • Empathetic approach that enhances client engagement and treatment success.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in hospice or end-of-life care settings preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with community resources and services for mental health and substance abuse recovery.
  • Working knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and therapeutic modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

Mariveles Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Generous paid time off and sick leave to support your work-life balance.
