Job description

GXM Technologies is seeking an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lead Tester to provide both hands-on testing and leadership within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team. The Lead Tester will will utilize AI to plan, coordinate, and execute test activities using a variety of functional, usability, and accessibility testing methods. This individual must have a deep understanding of AI, automated testing techniques, and acute focus on detail. You will help drive quality across the full development lifecycle and collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product staff to ensure intuitive, performant, and compliant software delivery. This role requires both AI technical testing proficiency and automation experience. This position is Remote with Ad-Hoc travel possible but not expected.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and conduct test execution tasks for the team utilizing Ai, including integration, system, regression, smoke, accessibility and performance (load/stress) testing in an Agile-Scrum development environment that utilizes user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure functional testing includes test types such as negative, edge case, and error condition testing.
  • Support program usability and acceptance testing events.
  • Manage test plans, test processes, test reporting, and test tools.
  • Manage adherence to daily Scrum activities, including the documentation of test cases for individual user stories.
  • Manage test team adherence to defect reporting and tracking processes, including root-cause, escalation, and resolution.
  • Lead and develop Al-driven automated testing using a variety of tools such as WebDriverlo, Playwright, Postman, and associated Al agents.
  • Develop the test automation framework and AI workflows that follows client standards, format, and technical best practices.
  • Train test team in testing processes, test automation framework, and test tools.
  • Interact with external development teams (frontend and backend) to ensure responsiveness and usability to avoid future risk and issues.
  • Perform code reviews of test automation to ensure test team abides by standards, framework, and guidance.
  • Advise program leadership on the progress of the testing activities.
  • Work closely with the technical lead and product owner to develop plans, schedules, and estimations as necessary.
  • Maintain test specifications, test plans/cases, and test automation code via source control software.
  • Configure, administer and troubleshoot software test environment.

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Candidates will go through a background check prior to onboarding.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent years of experience 3 years for 1 year education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of using AI for testing within the software development lifecycle.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in software testing, usability evaluation including Frontend and API testing.
  • Ability to conduct testing in an integrated and matrixed test team.
  • Strong foundation in test planning, test automation, test execution, and defect documentation.
  • Experience creating testing artifacts such as usability test plans, testing scripts, and testing reports.
  • Ability to conduct demonstrations and speak in front of groups.
