What is an hourly relocation bonus?

An hourly relocation bonus is a financial incentive offered by employers to hourly wage workers to help cover the costs of moving to a new location for a job. This bonus is typically a one-time payment or a series of payments provided in addition to the employee's regular hourly wages. Employers use relocation bonuses to attract qualified candidates from different areas, making it easier for them to transition to a new workplace. The amount and eligibility criteria for the bonus can vary depending on the company and the position.

Integration into your new team can be smoother, as companies offering these bonuses typically have processes in place to help you acclimate both professionally and personally. It's important to communicate openly with your manager and HR about any relocation-related concerns to take full advantage of available resources.
