Job description

Hospitalist (Part-Time) โ€“ St. Joseph Hospital, Tacoma, WA

We are seeking part-time Hospitalists for our Tacoma team based at St. Joseph Hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and manage patients in the outpatient clinic at all points in the care continuum.
  • Community Hospital rounding and inpatient management.
  • Provide consultations in urgent care and ED as needed to amplify efficiencies.
  • Shared call responsibilities with additional pay earned from overnight and weekend call.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $189.23 - $218.47 (depending on shift)
  • Employer-paid malpractice & tail coverage.
Qualifications
  • Required: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in internal medicine.
  • Ability to obtain unrestricted Federal DEA license.
  • Ability to obtain Washington State medical license.
  • Medical Degree MD/DO or better.
  • Min. 3+ years experience as a Hospitalist.
  • Unrestricted Washington State medical license and federally issued DEA license.
  • Full range of clinical skills and interest in working with an innovative group practice.
